Why Did My Bimba Bike Slow Down or Stop?
If your Bimba bike has slowed down or stopped unexpectedly, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
1. Outside the Riding Area
- If you’ve left the designated riding area, the bike’s electric assistance will deactivate.
- Check the app map to confirm your location. Move back into the riding area to reactivate assistance.
- If you remain outside the riding area, the bike may lock, and you’ll need to manually return it to the riding zone.
2. Low-Speed Zone
- You may have entered a low-speed zone, indicated by yellow areas on the app map.
- In these zones, the bike automatically slows down to comply with safety regulations.
3. Low Battery
- The bike may be running out of battery.
- Use the app to locate the nearest parking station and end your ride there.
4. Vehicle Issue
- If the battery level is sufficient, and you’re within the riding area, the bike may have a technical issue.
- End your ride and report the issue in the app by selecting the bike on the map and tapping “Report Issue.”
How to Avoid Ride Interruptions
- Always check the battery level in the app before starting your ride.
- Familiarize yourself with the riding area and any low-speed zones on the map.
If the issue persists, switch to another bike nearby for a smoother experience.
