You must be at least 18 to ride either a Bimba e-bike or an e-scooter. This applies to the person opening the ride and to every additional rider in a group. Creating an account or successfully unlocking a vehicle does not change the age requirement.
An account holder can start rides for up to two additional eligible adults. Each person needs a separate vehicle and must be able to control it independently. Before opening a group ride, check that everyone meets the minimum age and understands how to ride, park and end their own trip.
Do not carry a child, another adult or any other passenger on the same e-bike or scooter. An adult accompanying a child does not make the child eligible to ride. Families travelling with anyone under 18 should arrange a different form of transport.
Enter accurate information when registering. The normal signup flow does not currently require an identity document, but Bimba may request one when needed to verify eligibility or protect an account. Follow any verification prompt inside the app; do not send support a password, one-time code or complete card number.
Being 18 or older is only one part of eligibility. Read the current Rider Agreement, check the vehicle and route, bring your own helmet and do not ride while impaired. If you are unsure whether someone in your group can use the service, contact Bimba before starting a paid ride.
