At Bimba, we prioritize responsible parking to ensure a smooth experience for all riders and maintain organized spaces. Follow these detailed steps to park your bike correctly at a Bimba station:

Step-by-Step Parking Process

1. Locate an Available Parking Space:
   
   • Use the Bimba app to navigate to the nearest docking station:
     • Benz Station: Near La Carmen Beach.
     • La Glida Station: Near Banaba Beach.
     • Somos Station: Near La Lora Beach.
   • The app will show the availability of spaces at each station. If the station is full, you can park the bike neatly next to the station within the designated parking area.
2. Position the Bike:
   
   • Roll the bike into an available docking space. Ensure the front wheel is aligned with the docking mechanism.
   • If you’re parking next to the station (when full), make sure the bike is upright with the kickstand down, positioned neatly without obstructing pathways, entrances, or driveways.
3. Secure the Bike:
   
   • Push the bike gently into the docking mechanism until you hear a click and see a green light appear on the docking station.
   • The green light confirms that the bike is locked securely and properly docked.
4. End Your Ride in the App:
   
   • Open the Bimba app and tap “End Ride.”
   • Follow the on-screen instructions and take a photo of the parked bike. This confirms that you’ve parked responsibly.
   • If the station is full and you parked next to it, the app will prompt you to confirm the bike’s position by taking a photo.
5. Confirm the Ride Completion:
   
   • After ending the ride, check the app for confirmation that the trip has been successfully completed. You’ll receive a notification verifying your ride is over.

What to Do if the Station is Full

If all docking spaces are occupied:

• Park the bike next to the station within the designated parking area.
• Ensure the bike is upright, with the kickstand down, and not blocking any pathways or entrances.
• Follow the same process to end the ride in the app, including taking a photo to confirm the bike’s placement.
