Ending Your Ride with Bimba

At Bimba, we prioritize convenient and responsible parking to ensure everyone has access to our bikes and shared spaces remain organized. Always park your bike at or near one of our designated docking stations.

How to End Your Ride

  1. Head to a Bimba Docking Station:
    • Use the app to locate the nearest station:
      • Benz Station: Near La Carmen Beach.
      • La Glida Station: Near Banaba Beach.
      • Somos Station: Near La Lora Beach.
  2. Safely Stop:
    • Come to a complete stop at the docking station. If you need to use your phone, ensure you are safely away from traffic.
  3. Park Properly:
    • If there’s space in the docking station, place the bike securely in the docking area.
    • If the station is full, park the bike neatly next to the station, ensuring it doesn’t block pedestrian pathways, entrances, or driveways.
  4. End Your Ride in the App:
    • Tap “End Ride” in the app and follow the on-screen instructions.
    • Take a photo of the parked bike to confirm it is parked correctly.

Parking Guidelines

  • Use Designated Stations: Always return your bike to one of Bimba’s docking stations or park it next to the station if full.
  • Respect Shared Spaces: Ensure your bike is upright, the kickstand is down, and it’s not blocking pathways or entrances.
  • Follow the App Map: Use the app to confirm you’re in the correct parking area.

Troubleshooting Issues When Ending Your Ride

  • Station Full:
    • Park the bike neatly next to the station and proceed to end your ride as usual in the app.
  • Check Your Location:
    • Ensure you are physically at the station or nearby. GPS accuracy can vary, so move closer if needed.
  • Internet Connection:
    • Ensure your mobile data or Wi-Fi is active and stable. If connected to Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data for better accuracy.
  • Payment Issues:
    • Check that your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds. Update or add a new payment method if necessary.
