Starting Your Ride with Bimba

Getting started with Bimba is quick and simple! Follow these steps to unlock and ride an electric bike from one of our stations:

How to Start a Ride

1. Find a Bimba Bike:
   • Use the Bimba app to locate available bikes at any of our three convenient stations:
     • Benz Station: Near La Carmen Beach.
     • La Glida Station: Close to Banaba Beach.
     • Somos Station: Near La Lora Beach.
   • The app will show the exact location and availability of bikes at each station.
2. Unlock Your Bike:
   • Tap “Scan to Start” in the app and scan the QR code located on the bike to unlock it.
3. Ride Zones:
   • Check the app for Ride Zones before you start your ride. These zones may affect where you can ride, park, or the bike’s speed.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

• QR Code Problems:
  • Use the flashlight option in the app if the QR code is hard to scan.
  • If the QR code is damaged, you can manually enter the bike’s plate number in the app.
• Plate Number Issues:
  • If the plate number is unreadable, select another bike at the station while we address the issue.
• Vehicle Errors:
  • If you encounter a vehicle error, try another bike. Our team is actively working to resolve such issues.
• Payment Errors:
  • Ensure your payment method is updated in the app. After updating, try unlocking the bike again.
