Starting Your Ride with Bimba
Getting started with Bimba is quick and simple! Follow these steps to unlock and ride an electric bike from one of our stations:
How to Start a Ride
- Find a Bimba Bike:
- Use the Bimba app to locate available bikes at any of our three convenient stations:
- Benz Station: Near La Carmen Beach.
- La Glida Station: Close to Banaba Beach.
- Somos Station: Near La Lora Beach.
- The app will show the exact location and availability of bikes at each station.
- Use the Bimba app to locate available bikes at any of our three convenient stations:
- Unlock Your Bike:
- Tap “Scan to Start” in the app and scan the QR code located on the bike to unlock it.
- Ride Zones:
- Check the app for Ride Zones before you start your ride. These zones may affect where you can ride, park, or the bike’s speed.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
- QR Code Problems:
- Use the flashlight option in the app if the QR code is hard to scan.
- If the QR code is damaged, you can manually enter the bike’s plate number in the app.
- Plate Number Issues:
- If the plate number is unreadable, select another bike at the station while we address the issue.
- Vehicle Errors:
- If you encounter a vehicle error, try another bike. Our team is actively working to resolve such issues.
- Payment Errors:
- Ensure your payment method is updated in the app. After updating, try unlocking the bike again.
