Reserving a Bimba Bike

You can reserve a Bimba bike for up to 10 minutes for a fee of ₡1,000 ($2). Reserving ensures that your chosen bike will be ready and waiting for you at your selected station.

How to Reserve a Bike

1. Open the Bimba App:
   • Log in to your account and navigate to the map.
2. Select a Bike:
   • Tap on the bike you’d like to reserve at one of our stations:
     • Benz Station: Near La Carmen Beach.
     • La Glida Station: Near Banaba Beach.
     • Somos Station: Near La Lora Beach.
3. Tap “Reserve”:
   • Confirm your reservation and pay the ₡1,000 fee.
   • The bike will be held for you for 10 minutes.

Important Reservation Details

• Time Limit: Reservations last for 10 minutes. If your reservation expires, you will not be able to re-reserve the same bike.
• Switching Bikes: If you choose to unlock a different bike, your initial reservation will expire automatically.
• Fees: The reservation fee of ₡1,000 is non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete your ride.
